BRIAN IMRIE
Between 2009 and 2012, Mr. Imrie was Partner and Global Head of Mining M & A for KPMG Corporate Finance and was responsible for creating an integrated global mining advisory team based in over ten countries unseeing in excess of $500M in mining transactions. Prior to KPMG Mr. Imrie was Managing Director and Co-Head of M & A for National Bank Financial for seven years (2001-2008) and was responsible for numerous high profile mining transactions including the sale of Fording Coal to Teck Resources. Mr. Imrie has also worked with Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse; he received his MBA from Harvard University in 1987 and his BA from the University of Toronto in 1983.
DR. JOHN THOMAS
Dr. Thomas is a professional engineer, and holds a BSc, an MSc and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. He also received a diploma in accounting and finance from the U.K. Association of Certified Accountants. He has 44 years of experience in the mining industry, including both base metal and precious metal projects in several countries including Brazil, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Russia, Kazakhstan, Canada and Zambia. His experience covers a wide range of activities in the mining industry from process development, management of feasibility studies, engineering and management of process plant construction, and the operation of multiple underground and surface mines.
POMPEYO GALLARDO
Pompeyo Gallardo has over 27 years of experience in corporate finance, with particular strengths in budgeting & control, project structuring, financial modelling and analysis. He is a former senior credit risk manager at Scotiabank, a former financial analyst at CIBC, a former CFO at Chieftain Metals and Red Cloud Klondike Strike (now Red Cloud Securities). Mr. Gallardo also provides financial and corporate development consulting services to mining and non-mining clients. Mr. Gallardo holds a B.A. of Economics from Universidad del Pacífico with post-graduate studies in finance & control at Harvard University and a Risk and Compliance certification from the International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals.
MARCIAL GUTIERREZ
Marcial is a Professional Peruvian geologist having graduated in 2006 as a geological engineer from the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos. Marcial has worked throughout Perú, with over 15 years of experience in exploration and mining for both large international mining companies, as well as the Junior mining segment with a focus on the geological and economic evaluation of epithermal Au-Ag deposits and Cu-Au porphyries including Lagunas Norte (Barrick Misquichilca) and Chucapaca Project (Goldfields/Buenaventura). Marcial was instrumental in the discovery of high-grade Au and Ag resources in the Callanquitas Structure at Igor (2012) and leading the technical team for the Pre-Feasibility study of the Igor Project (PPX 2017/2018). Marcial was responsible for the planning, direction, supervision, and monitoring of exploration programs for PPX, in harmony and care for the environment and the social impact of all mining/exploration activities.
